TIGER TIGER BURNING BRIGHT

7th December

Exciting sculptures are in the offing for next May's exhibition, we are already hearing of full sized stone tigers and amazing bronze sculptures ready to adorne the Delamore gardens.... keep posted for more updates!

 

FISHING FOR INSPIRED WORK

5th December

Delamore Arts would like to invite sculptors to devise a creative concept around the resident trout lake for it's 11th annual art and sculpture exhibition in May 2013.

The trout lake is a stunning feature of the Delamore gardens and is situated near the main house on the Delamore estate. The trout lake lends itself to exhibiting inspired sculpture either in or around the lake. The Delamore Arts Committee are are interested in hearing from individuals or groups who may have inspired ideas for this unique space.

The sculpture will form part of the annual exhibition and would be shown for the entirety of the month long show.

DELAMORE 2013 ENTRY FORM RETURNS

20th November

Delamore Arts is pleased to announce it has invited selected artists and sculptors to join us for our eleventh annual exhibition next year. We hope to be able to outline some of the wonderful artists who will be exhibiting in May 2013 in the near future. 

We would be very appreciative if all artist entry forms could be returned to us by early December if possible.

  

ARTIST SELECTIONS

19th October

It's a beautiful Autumnal day here at Delamore, although the committee have had the very difficult task of reviewing applications from some highly talented artists for our 2013 exhibition. We will be contacting all selected artists with invitations in early November. If you have applied directly to us we will also be in contact very soon to let you know if you have been successful for 2013. 

 

DELAMORE ARTS 2013

27th September

Delamore Arts is thrilled to have recieved a record number of new applications from painters and sculptors wishing to be considered for the 2013 exhibition. Gavin Dollard of Delamore Arts says 'We are delighted to see such strong applications from artists old and new to Delamore and are already very excited about next year's show'. The Delamore Arts Committee meets next month to review applications for May's month long show.

If you would like to be considered there is still time to send five examples of your recent work, preferably as a JPEG to admin@delamorecom.

BACK TO BUSINESS

As the holidays end (and the sun seems to have returned!) we have all that back to school feeling. Here at Delamore we are now avidly preparing for our artist selections in October. With so much talent out there it will be a real pleasure to review the 2013 applications. There is still plenty of time for you to apply to us for the exhibition next year or to let us know of any outstanding artists you think should be on our radar! OPEN STUDIOS SEASON LAUNCHES

Delamore Arts has been kindly invited to a number of exciting Open Studios events in Devon. Open Studios runs all over the UK and offers an opportunity to view artists work in their homes or studios and in many cases meet the artists themselves. We are pleased to see that a number of the artists who have exhibited at Delamore Arts are involved again this year. DRAWN TO THE VALLEY SUMMER EXHIBITION 2012

2nd August

Delamore Arts is delighted to be attending the preview of the Drawn to the Valley Summer Exhibition.  Featuring artists such as Howard du Ross, David Greenhalgh and Teresa Wicksteed, the art exhibition at Tavistock Town Hall runs from Wednesday 8th to Sunday 12th August, from 10am to 430pm.

BRITISH NAIVE ARTISTS RELEASE FIRST BOOK

27th July

Congratulations to the Association of British Naive Artists (ABNA) who have released their first book.

ABNA, who exhibited at Delamore 2012, have published a colourful book featuring images of works by 48 of their current members. HOLD YOUR CORPORATE EVENT FREE AT DELAMORE

25th July

Every year in May we give select businesses or organisations the opportunity to hold a corporate reception in the stunning surrounds of the Delamore Gallery and gardens, You can invite up to 120 people, and we will help you serve canapes and cocktails while your guest get to see the best in South West Art and network.

The venue is absolutely free, just discuss with us your catering requirements. Email admin@delamore.com for more information. Early booking is recommended.

 

A LABOUR OF LOVE......TALENT SPOTTING....

The Delamore Arts team have been lucky enough to visit some fantastic galleries and sculpture parks this summer. We have seen some inspiring works and are already excited about preparing to select artists for our 2013 exhibition.

If you would like to be considered or know of an artist whose work you think we should see we'd love to hear from you!

DELAMORE'S MINI MONET HITS THE HEADLINES AGAIN!

In the run up to his new exhibition, nine year old Kieron Williamson appears set to become the country's youngest millionaire.

Kieron's paintings have appeared at Delamore's Exhibitions over the past two years and we're proud to be part of his success story. At the May show his painting of Fowey in Cornwall sold for £13,500. In addition to his exhibition Kieron also has a newly released book 'Coming to Light'. The book, which charts his story, includes a chapter on Delamore with the painting he made of the house itself in 2011 (opposite)
